The internationalization of higher education was at the heart of the 2026 EAIE Conference and Exhibition, one of the world’s leading international higher education events, which brought together representatives from universities and institutions in more than 100 countries in Glasgow, Scotland. At this event, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia explored new opportunities for academic cooperation, mobility, and research.

Under the theme The Rhythm of Revolution, the 36th edition of the conference, held from September 8 to 11, addressed the transformations shaping higher education and its international dimension, providing spaces for the exchange of experiences, the development of partnerships, and the discussion of emerging perspectives for the sector.

Organized by the European Association for International Education (EAIE), the conference included the participation of Cayetano Heredia, represented by Francesco Mencaroni, Director of the University Office of Institutional Relations and Internationalization (DURIN), who held meetings with institutions from different countries to explore potential areas of collaboration.

Cayetano Heredia also participated as a member of the Consortium of Universities, which brings together the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Universidad del Pacífico, and Universidad de Lima.

These meetings create new opportunities for cooperation in academic mobility, research, and international education, with the potential to generate new experiences for the Cayetano Heredia community, including students, faculty, and administrative staff.
