Visit from Angelo State University representative strengthens international ties for the benefit of Nursing students

Our university received the institutional visit of MEd Janie M. Soupiset, Field Experience Advisor at Angelo State University (Texas, United States), to explore opportunities for academic collaboration focused on enriching the education of students from the Faculty of Nursing.

During the meeting, an institutional presentation of Cayetano Heredia University was delivered, along with a presentation by the Faculty of Nursing highlighting its efforts to strengthen student internationalisation and enhance the quality of its courses through strategic partnerships.

Representing our university were Mag. Francesco Mencaroni, Director of International Relations, and Mag. María Ángela Fernández, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.

As part of her visit to our facilities, MEd Soupiset toured the Nursing Simulation Centre, a key space for the practical training of our future professionals, as well as the Laboratory of Developmental Neurobiology, Neurodegeneration, and Zebrafish, located in the LID, where she learned about the progress made in basic research driven by our university.This visit reaffirms Cayetano Heredia University’s institutional commitment to academic internationalisation and to building cooperation networks that broaden development opportunities for both our student and academic communities.
