From 27 to 30 May, the Consortium of Universities —made up of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Perú, the Universidad del Pacífico, the Universidad de Lima, and the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.— took part in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo, the world’s leading event dedicated to the internationalisation of higher education, held this year in San Diego, California.

NAFSA brings together representatives from educational institutions from over 100 countries and has become the main global platform for forging strategic alliances, promoting academic cooperation, and exploring key trends in student mobility, immigration policy, technological innovation, and the transformation of higher education.

In this edition, the Consortium had a strong institutional presence through its dedicated stand, from which it promoted scientific and academic cooperation initiatives, facilitating collaboration between higher education institutions and research centres. In addition, Mag. Francesco Mencaroni, Director of International Relations, held bilateral meetings with representatives from universities across the Americas, Europe, and the United Kingdom, both strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration in research and academic development.

Participation in NAFSA 2025 reaffirms the Consortium of Universities’ commitment to delivering high-quality education that is globally engaged and aligned with the world’s evolving challenges.
