Cayetano Heredia welcomes students from the Americas, Europe, and Asia

The beginning of the second semester 2025-II has a special mark at our university: the arrival of international students who are joining our academic community. Young people from the Americas, Europe, and Asia have placed their trust in Cayetano Heredia to broaden their professional and personal horizons, bringing with them cultures, languages, and experiences that enrich our university life every day.
The welcome ceremony, held on February 26, was attended by our main authorities: the Rector, Dr. Enrique Castañeda; the Academic Vice-Rector, Dr. Yesenia Musayón; and the Director of Institutional Relations and Internationalization, Mg. Francesco Mencaroni. Also present were program directors and students, who shared in the excitement of welcoming the new international community.
As a special guest, we had the presence of Dr. Marcos Milla, a distinguished alumnus and renowned biotechnology researcher, who delivered an inspiring message about the importance of making the most of every academic opportunity. We also heard from Matthew Ponticiello, from Yale University, who is currently undertaking an internship at the School of Public Health and Administration. He shared his expectations and motivations in academic, cultural, and professional fields.
The ceremony concluded with words from our Rector, who invited students to take full advantage of the institution’s resources and to embrace the Heredian spirit to the fullest. As a university, we are proud to welcome these students and are convinced that their presence will not only enrich their own experience, but also ours. Welcome to Cayetano, your new home.
