Cayetano Heredia and the University of Concepción, Chile, expand partnership to strengthen academic training, research, and international mobility

With the aim of deepening joint work in education, research, innovation, and academic exchange—directly benefiting students, faculty, and researchers—the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and the University of Concepción (UdeC) signed an expansion of their academic and scientific cooperation agreement.
The agreement was signed in Chile by the rector of UdeC, Carlos Saavedra Rubilar, and the rector of Cayetano Heredia, Enrique Castañeda Saldaña, during a ceremony attended by academic authorities and international relations representatives from both institutions.
This expansion creates new opportunities for Cayetano’s students, faculty, and researchers, who will be able to participate in undergraduate and graduate academic exchange programs, as well as engage in joint research projects and academic experiences within an international university environment, strengthening their academic and professional development.
Within the framework of this agreement, Cayetano involves the Faculties of Science and Engineering, Education, Nursing, Medicine, Psychology, Stomatology, and Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, significantly broadening the disciplinary scope of this interinstitutional collaboration.
Through this expansion, the university reaffirms its commitment to high-quality higher education, providing its students with greater opportunities for international learning, applied research, and professional development through strategic partnerships with leading universities in Latin America.
