Cayetano Heredia and PUCMM consolidate their academic alliance with the signing of a cooperation agreement

On Tuesday, 1 April, Cayetano Heredia and the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher The Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) of the Dominican Republic signed an academic and research cooperation agreement. This agreement will strengthen academic mobility, encourage the transfer of best practices in entrepreneurship and innovation, and promote collaboration on strategic projects of mutual interest to both universities.
The event took place at our Central Campus (San Martín de Porres) and was signed by our President, Dr Enrique Castañeda, and PUCMM´s President, Dr Secilio Espinal, Rector of PUCMM. Also attending on behalf of the Dominican institution were Mr José Miguel Hernández, Director of International Relations, and Ms Claribel Ferreiras, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
During the ceremony, the rectors highlighted the importance of this alliance for the internationalisation of higher education. Afterwards, the visiting delegation toured the university’s facilities, gaining first-hand insight into its academic and scientific infrastructure.
With this agreement, Cayetano Heredia and PUCMM reaffirm their commitment to educational excellence and international cooperation, consolidating their positions as leading institutions in the region and promoting knowledge networks that transcend borders.
